The syllabus for the Technical Award in Residential Letting and Property Management (RLPM) has been updated by NFOPP – the new syllabus will operate from 21 July 2008.

At MOL, we have known about the changes to the syllabus for a while, and we’ve already incorporated them into our current course materials. This means you already have almost all the information you’ll need to sit the new syllabus examinations from July.

The only extra information you’ll need is about the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS), as the fine detail of the scheme wasn’t confirmed until after our materials were written. For the latest information on the TDS, we have produced an addendum, which is sent to all students with their course materials.

Also, any updates to legislation affecting the Technical Award will be posted on this website so it’s a good idea to check the site regularly. For example, all new lettings after 1 October 2008 will need energy performance certificates (EPCs), so we’ll provide more information on this once the final details are known from the government.
